Non-advertisement, a personal experience sharing about the improvement of "hives":
In 2020, I suddenly developed hives ("Hives" or "蕁麻疹"), which troubled me every night around midnight. The symptoms were localized patches of red swelling on the skin, intensely itchy, and a burning sensation. It was impossible to get a good night's sleep. I sought medical help from Western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine, tried eating bland food, but the condition persisted with occasional flare-ups. So, I continuously researched online to find a solution.
At first, I tried taking health supplements containing "quercetin + bromelain," but the effect was not significant. Then, I added (β-glucan) health supplements, and after a few months, the condition improved, but the hives still recurred. Finally, I decided to only take probiotics health supplements, and after about a week, the hives stopped. I stopped taking the supplements after that.
By the end of 2022, the hives returned. A traditional Chinese medicine practitioner suggested that it might be due to excessive consumption of raw and cold food, leading to a condition of excessive dampness and coldness, which triggered the hives again. I used to think that taking only probiotics would be enough, but after trying it for two months with no improvement, I went back to the previous combination of "quercetin + bromelain" and "β-glucan" health supplements. After taking these three supplements together for three days, the hives completely subsided. Now, I take them every one to two weeks as a supplement.
Why does this combination work? Well, it turns out that probiotics help improve gut health and aid in the breakdown of food, which allows the body to produce essential vitamins. However, probiotics are quickly eliminated from the body, leading to a decrease in their numbers. To increase the amount of probiotics, you need to consume prebiotics, such as "益生源" (PREBIOTICS), to promote the growth of probiotics. As for "quercetin + bromelain," they help alleviate allergies and inflammation in the body. Taking these three health supplements together seems to be the solution.
